Beelites is a family run business and our mission and our passion is to provide you with truly natural products made with real ingredients that are safe for all living things and a joy to use while raising awareness of the many benefits of using responsibly handcrafted natural products.
Our family believes in shopping for fresh, local, organic produce and apply those same principles to our business by providing our customers with good quality, hand-made products. As a business we adhere to the principles of sustainability by reusing, recycling and minimizing our packaging for all our products including our Beeswax candles. We use only top grade beeswax for our candles supplied by canadian bee farms. Our truly natural products are biodegradable, cruelty free, minimally packaged, and do not contain synthetic fragrance oils, preservatives, petroleum products, FD&C colorants or dyes, or any other harmful chemicals. Our candles are each individually hand crafted. We clean our own wax, make our own molds and blend our own ingredients. You will only find pure essential oils for scent, clays or natural roots for color and natural preservatives where possible.
Our line of natural body care and massage products and our natural handmade soap was inspired by the diversity of natures gift, beeswax.
GMO Free Soy candles were introduced in the summer of 2011. It is a clean burning wax and renewable resource. The wax we use is free of genetically modified soya beans. Because of the lower melting temperature of soy wax it allows some essential oils and blends to be used that do not burn well in the high temperatures of beeswax. And because it melts close to skin temperature we have found it a huge hit with the kids! We have soy candle making stations at select markets specifically so kids can make their own tealight. Cost is by donation with funds collected going to the local Womens Shelter, Food Bank and SPCA.
We have an appreciation for all things natural and a desire to live a healthy pure lifestyle and to minimize our ecological footprint. Beeswax candles offer several health benefits that we hope to bring from our farm to your home.
